Return & Refund Policy – OHM Medical IT

At OHM Medical IT, we take pride in supplying high-quality medical-grade equipment. Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. Change of Mind

Due to the nature of medical and clinical equipment, we do not accept returns for change of mind once an order has been dispatched.

We encourage customers to contact us prior to purchase if they require clarification on product suitability, compatibility, or specifications.

2. Faulty, Damaged or Defective Products

If your product arrives faulty, damaged, or defective, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

To initiate a return for a faulty product, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and provide:

  • Order number
  • Description of the issue
  • Photos or videos clearly showing the fault or damage

3. Assessment & Approval Process

All returned items must be:

  • Approved by OHM Medical IT prior to return
  • Returned in original packaging (where possible)
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Once received, products will be assessed by our technical team or manufacturer to determine eligibility for repair, replacement, or refund.

4. Medical Devices & Used Products

For infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Products that have been used, installed, or commissioned, unless deemed faulty
  • Medical devices returned without original condition or packaging
  • Products damaged due to misuse, incorrect installation, or unauthorised modification

5. Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed:

  • To the original payment method
  • Within 5–10 business days after approval

Please note:

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the product is confirmed faulty
  • Refunds may be partial if the product shows signs of use or damage not related to a manufacturing fault

6. Exchanges

We may offer exchanges for:

  • Incorrect items supplied by OHM Medical IT
  • Faulty products approved for replacement

Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

7. Shipping for Returns

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is confirmed faulty or incorrectly supplied
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method
  • OHM Medical IT is not responsible for items lost in return transit

8. Warranty Claims

Many of our products are covered by manufacturer warranties. Warranty claims may be handled directly by OHM Medical IT or referred to the manufacturer, depending on the product.

Warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Accidental damage
  • Improper use or unauthorised servicing
