The Zopec Explore 5500 is designed for users who want their compatible CPAP or BiPAP equipment to remain protected during unexpected household power interruptions.

The battery can remain connected between mains power and the compatible device during normal operation. Its built-in UPS system monitors incoming power and automatically transfers the connected equipment to reserve battery operation if mains power is lost.

The Explore 5500 uses an online double-conversion UPS architecture, providing continuous conditioned power within the product’s rated operating limits.

Its 160 Wh lithium-ion battery is housed in a compact enclosure measuring approximately 21.6 × 15.2 × 5.1 cm and weighing approximately 1.36 kg. Silent solid-state cooling avoids the use of a conventional fan, making it suitable for bedrooms and quiet home environments.

The Explore 5500 can support selected compatible CPAP and BiPAP configurations using heated humidification. Heated-tube use is not recommended for the minimum eight-hour backup positioning and can substantially reduce available runtime.

The battery can also provide portable power for suitable laptops, tablets, smartphones, modems, lighting and other small electronic devices, subject to the verified output requirements of the supplied model.
