The exterior can be sprayed and wiped using compatible hospital-approved germicidal wipes, supporting routine cleaning procedures across hospitals, clinics, aged care, laboratories and biomedical environments.

Instead of a conventional mechanical scroll wheel, the HM801B uses a capacitive scrolling sensor. This removes one of the common moving components and recessed areas found on a standard computer mouse, creating a smoother surface for cleaning.
